    Aimed at practicing nurse managers and nursing executives who are concerned with their professional development and that of others/their staff, each guidebook in this series gives specific advice on how to solve a leadership problem and successfully handle developmental challenges.

    Allan Calarco is the group manager for all open-enrollment offerings at CCL’s Brussels campus. He is a certified feedback specialist and executive coach. Allan holds a master’s degree in counseling from Shippensburg University.

    Joan Gurvis is CCL’s Greensboro campus director. She manages the faculty, open-enrollment and custom programs, conducts research, and is certified feedback specialist.     Mary Lynn Pulley, PhD is the author of Losing Your Job–Reclaiming Your Soul: Stories of Resilience, Renewal, and Hope (Jossey- Bass, 1997), which describes how individuals can be resilient and thrive in the face of corporate change.

    Michael Wakefield is a manager of trainer development at CCL. He holds an MA in psychology from Lone Mountain College (now part of the University of San Francisco), is certified by the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, and is licensed as a Professional Counselor.     Organizations are in a current state of change and people working in these environments need different kinds of help in order to make the successful transition.
